Our Standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. The site partially meets this standard today: we are working through the known limitations listed below.
This statement covers pages at www.plusbake.com. We do not use an overlay widget in place of accessible design and code.
How We Check the Site
- Automated accessibility scans of the public pages, run on a recurring schedule.
- Review of the scan results and fixes made in the site’s source code, not through an add-on layer.
Known Limitations
These are the issues we know about and are fixing:
- Some text placed over photos, such as the “Order Online” card on the home page, does not yet meet minimum color contrast.
- When text spacing is increased with browser or assistive tools, some labels and buttons can overlap or be cut off.
- On some pages the sticky header or the cookie notice can partly cover the item that has keyboard focus.
- Some form fields do not yet show a text message explaining why an entry was not accepted.

Some features are provided by other companies and are outside our control: online ordering (Toast), maps (Google Maps), and social media links (Instagram, TikTok). Their accessibility is covered by their own statements.
